Communications Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH)

2025–2026 Topic: “The Moment I Realized I Belonged – My Definition of Community”

The Communications Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH) is an annual event designed for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. For the 2025–2026 school year, we are seeking students who would like to participate in this exciting opportunity.

Modeled after the Optimist Oratorical Contest, CCDHH gives deaf and hard-of-hearing youth the chance to compete by delivering a speech or presentation using spoken language or sign language. The contest allows students to share their thoughts with the community while building confidence and communication skills that come from presenting to a larger audience.
